For many clinicians, understanding how to assess for sexual addiction or disorders is imperative to creating a treatment plan. When it comes to treatment facilities such as those for drug and alcohol, knowing how to assess and treat sexual disorders is crucial to providing quality treatment and keeping clients safe. Many clients will “switch” addictions when in drug and alcohol in order to self soothe while others had an underlying sexual addiction that will cause relapse into drugs or alcohol if not treated. We can come to your facility and train your staff on how to assess for and treat sexual disorders. Depending on the needs of your facility, we can provide programming plans and help review systems in place and renew systems to have you provide the most well rounded treatment possible and not have to refer clients out for treatment allowing them to feel safe and heal in your place.
